programs that is currently done using email and of-line communications.
§ Various groups within company are involved in these process like BLM, FPT, MT etc so there is
a lot of forward and backword flow of data.
§ This process provides a central repository to monitor the performance of these programs

§ Designed and implemented solution to migrate contracts from one dealer to another dealer.
§ Designed and implemented solution to migrate existing contracts from legacy application to
Sterling Commerce MCS application.
§ Developed the capability to link contracts to be treated as a single unit by the application in
respect to state transitions for billing purpose.

Position Title: Sterling Consultant
Project: Cengage Learning- CengageBrain Redesign
§ The existing UI presentation layer was redesigned using new UI designs and over all
architecture was changed to make use of JSTLs and Ajax based, to improve user experience.
§ New modules have been added along with customizations to the existing application as part of
this release. It includes some functionality changes like new product relationship addition,
feature additions, inventory checking.
§ The complete product detail page was redesigned and relationships where re-written to match
the new requirements. Special login-logout processes were developed.
§ Add to cart functionality was modified and an intermediate step was added for better customer
experience.
§ Customer is an ecommerce application for selling/renting books/digital/electronics product
related to studies. Enhancements and bug fixes were done for all three storefronts for US,
EMEA and Latin America.
§ Typical were removal of repeat password requirement, Email changes, additional product type
addition.

Project: Comergent PSO Support Offshore
§ Enhancements were done for administrator as well as Partner instance of Sterling Commerce
MCS application depending upon client requirements. The major enhancements are as:
§ Product Master Changes: The product master module was customized to store additional
information regarding products and to show it to partner users searching for products, to make
their selection easier.
§ Config Matrix changes: Customer was using a different database to store information regarding
Configuration details of products, and it was populated using macros from a word file. This
process was simplified by decoupling the database and storing the information in the same
format and displayed from the stored file. Also it provided a feature to download the information
in excel sheet.
§ PDF Download: The details of opportunity needed to be downloaded in pdf format along with
other details and it was successfully implemented.
§ New Role Creations: The enhancements were done to create new roles with required access to
these roles to successfully execute functions associated with these roles.
§ Spreadsheets: spreadsheets were provided for each catalog to download the details of all the
products under catalog in spreadsheet along with other details regarding products.
§ Auto Approval Feature: Auto approval feature was added so that the submitted quotes qualifying
auto approval criteria are approved automatically without any manual intervention.
§ E Mail Notifications: Added new email notification flow and customized existing ones for different
batch jobs and various processes.
